MEM Brown Eyed Girl

Brownie was purchased this year for the specific purpose of breeding and making a futurity winning foal.  Liberation First Star combined with Star Lake Ellisa simply makes one gorgeous horse.  Brownie is being rebred to On Line 2008.  What a group of grandparents this foal will have!!!!  It is hard to put together a better set of names for pretty and movement.  This will be an exciting cross for our farm for many years to come.

Update: Did you read in the Feb./March 2008 Morgan Horse Magazine?  There was a great article on Carlyle Command.  In this article, Star Lake Ellisa's show career and production were discussed.  Very impressive!  Star Lake Ellisa was a 1990 and 1991 World and Grand National Champion in pleasure driving...UNDEFEATED in her classes!

VL MANDALAY

After a brief career as a show horse, this fine mare by (HVK Bell Flaire x Salem Simone) found her place as a mother.   Mandy simply makes a great baby no matter what the cross.  This is the sign of a strong mare.  Currently in foal to the Futurity French Command son On Line. for 2010  Mandy is one of Armada's top broodmares.  See her list of foals and check them out for yourself.  They are all astonishing and beautiful.

MEM SCREAM AND SHOUT

"Abby's" bloodlines SCREAM and SHOUT quality and she will be looking to pass that on next year as she is currently being bred to On Line for an 09' foal.  Abby is a big stretchy mare and looks quite a bit like her sire, Cedar Creek Harlequin.  Abby's dam is out of a Tedwin Topic daughter, Maine Event Jasmine.  Topic daughters are known producers and we think that she has the best of both her pedigrees.

Note: Abby produced a 2007 bay colt named Armada Line Backer and a 2009 filly named Armada Fine Line.  Both have been sold!  Abby will be bred back to On Line for 2010....place that order early.

MEM SUCH A HOTTIE

"Hottie" (Tedwin Topic x Aff Beulah)   Hottie is a very young Tedwin Topic daughter out of AFF Beulah, (Listed as a PRODUCER in 2007 Morgan Connection) a top producer for Rick Lane and Maine Event Morgans.  Hottie will be a solid producer for years to come.  Both the top and bottom of her pedigree are strong and full of show horses.  Hottie herself is a beautiful bay mare and we look forward to a 2008 foal by Mizrahi.  We believe this cross will give us both extreme neck and motion.

MEM PLAYMATE

"Playmate" is one of the prettiest and finest moving horses on the farm.  She is fancy in every way.   Her sire Futurity French Command needs no introduction and her dam Star Lake Ellisa has impressed us so much that we own two of her daughters. (See MEM Brown Eyed Girl) We have decided to cross this fine mare with Hylee's Rare Flaire for 2009.  The mare line in this cross is simply fantastic.  This foal will be both beautiful and showy in movement.  The blood is loaded with World Champions!!!
