Stonegate Stables is proud to have Tex as one of our lesson horses. Tex joined our family in 2009 and has made a tremendous impact on our riders. He has become a barn favorite in a very short time here. Tex, thanks for all you do for us! |

Princess is approximately an 11 year old quarter paint pony. Princess is just shy of not being a pony which is great because an adult can easily ride her as well. This is nice for training and correction. Most ponies are too small to do this and require more ground work than saddle time. Princess is currently being used in our lesson program, jumps and reins very well. She has more horse personality than pony and this too makes her GREAT. She will make for a nice family horse. She does prefer to be worked than to hang out. The more you ride her the better she is. |

Comanchee was the first horse ever purchased by Stonegate Stables. He is an older quarter horse that has done it all. He is usually the first horse that people ride in our lesson program. He is good natured and caring. He will get better with a better rider and has been used for all types of events. He can go western, english and still some legs to do small jumps. This is a great starter horse. |

Finnegan is a great care taker and is excellent in all aspects of a working Morgan. He does well under saddle and has taught us all how to drive. Finnegan is a great representative of why Morgans are so loved.

Blackjack is a very large BLACK quarter horse. We say that he is an excellent husband horse. He is a real gentlemen and prefers walk/trot over canter. He is smooth in all three gaits...very smooth in the canter. He has an excellent western trot and jog and has a good head on his shoulders. He is a care taker of his rider and tends to adjust to the riders level. A real rider can get him to move just fine, but he will slow down and be more cautious for a beginner. A real asset for a family or any program. |

Foxy is not a quarter horse, but thinks she is. Foxy is a painted pony with a big heart. Foxy joined us in 2009 and has earned her spot with the walk/trot/canter classes. In need of a smaller rider, Foxy helps gives our young riders confidence as they learn how to ride all three gaits. She can even do flying lead changes easily. |
