Stonegate Stables is home to numerous Quarter horses. Most of the Quarter horses are used in our lesson programs and camps. They are excellent friends and we have one to meet almost every riding style and level. |

Princess is approximately an 11 year old quarter paint pony. Princess is just shy of not being a pony which is great because an adult can easily ride her as well. This is nice for training and correction. Most ponies are too small to do this and require more ground work than saddle time. Princess is currently being used in our lesson program, jumps and reins very well. She has more horse personality than pony and this too makes her GREAT. She will make for a nice family horse. She does prefer to be worked than to hang out. The more you ride her the better she is. |

Comanchee was the first horse ever purchased by Stonegate Stables. He is an older quarter horse that has done it all. He is usually the first horse that people ride in our lesson program. He is good natured and caring. He will get better with a better rider and has been used for all types of events. He can go western, english and still some legs to do small jumps. This is a great starter horse. |

Rusty is a Roan Quarter Horse. This horse has it all. Personality, smarts, responsiveness and speed control. Rusty is considered as probably the best riding horse on the farm. He excels at reining and moves off the leg. He gives you what you want and anticipates your commands. Come take a lesson on this one. You won't want to leave! |

Blackjack is a very large BLACK quarter horse. We say that he is an excellent husband horse. He is a real gentlemen and prefers walk/trot over canter. He is smooth in all three gaits...very smooth in the canter. He has an excellent western trot and jog and has a good head on his shoulders. He is a care taker of his rider and tends to adjust to the riders level. A real rider can get him to move just fine, but he will slow down and be more cautious for a beginner. A real asset for a family or any program. |

Oakley is an intermediate to advanced riding quarter horse. He has some limited dressage work and would make an excellent horse for a rider looking for a strong horse. With a few more miles on him, we believe that Oakley has unlimited potential. He is a pretty gelding that catches your eye and would be attractive in any show ring. Come see him at work as our trainers keep making him better every day. |

Mariah is an excellent paint quarter horse. Mariah moves off of the leg well and neck reins like a pro. Mariah responds quickly and has a quick step. She would be best for an intermediate rider because of her quick willingness to respond to your cues and her ability to transition gates with little effort. She would not be missed in any show ring or event. |

Burton is a black quarter horse that is currently at work in our lesson program. If you are looking for a responsible, family horse, Burton would be a great choice. Come take a ride and meet this steady gelding. |
